Congratulations to Laurie Entrup for being January’s Athlete of the Month!!! Laurie started with MTS while we were located at Healthtrax over 10 years ago! Always active, Laurie has been an avid runner and lover of the outdoors. Being very athletic she picked up on our training methods quickly and made the gym part of her regular healthy lifestyle. A frequent traveler (mostly to Mayberry and back) she always finds time to get her workouts done and get the most out of them. Working through some injuries, Laurie always tries to overcome and persevere. Waking her husband Mark and dragging him in here at least 3 days a week is a chore! Laurie we are thankful for you and thank you for trusting us with your fitness endeavors.

Running & classes at YMCA & Pilates

Over 10 years.
What’s your favorite workout/exercise at MTS?
What’s your least favorite workout/exercise at MTS?
Anything upper body, oh! and the bike.
How is MTS different than other methods of training you may have tried in the past?
It allows me an environment to really work on my strength training.
How has MTS helped you attain your fitness goals or athletic endeavors?
As I age I want to continue working on my core strength and my overall muscle strength, so keeping to a stricter regime with the expert help from Paul & Andy definitely helps me to achieve those goals.
What’s your favorite cheat meal/snack?
I’m a meat & potatoes girl!
Advice to those just starting out?
Start slow, then when you get insulted by Paul double down! JK: Take it slow & steady…you will see results!
