Congratulations Chuck Bailey for being December’s Athlete of the Month! Chuck started in June with us and has gone down 4% in body fat since then. His drive in the gym has allowed him to get behind the wheel of his new Porsche and hit each workout with additional horsepower. Chucks stamina, anaerobic, and strength levels have all improved greatly. He stays very consistent and is continually pushing himself to improve on some level. Currently he has started to push himself on the weights and is striving to increase strength even more. He loves to hit the track with his buddies and compete. We should be hearing news from Mario Andretti on Chucks status on being named the #1 alternate driver for his Formula One team.

What did you do before joining MTS in regards to working out?
I was a binge exciser at various gyms and at home.
How long have you been with MTS?
What’s your favorite workout/exercise at MTS?
I’ve never used kettlebells and really enjoy any workout that involves kettlebells.
What’s your least favorite workout/exercise at MTS?
Pushing the sled at the end of a workout.
How is MTS different than other methods of training you may have tried in the past?
The cardio component of the workouts combined with the strength training, simply provides a workout I’ve not experienced elsewhere.
How has MTS helped you attain your fitness goals or athletic endeavors?
My functional fitness for everyday life is vastly improved. Not to mention that my clothes fit great!!
What’s your favorite cheat meal/snack?
I have a hard time resisting chips and salsa in the evenings. Any kind of pizza is also a weakness.
Advice to those just starting out?
Stick with it. The first 4-6 weeks are really hard but then the workouts are addictive!!!
